thoughts of an iPhone user

after having the iPhone for about 6 months (EDGE thank you) and with the release of the 3G version around the corner (about 2 weeks as of this writing), i’m beginning to think about my personal verizon phone.

i have been consulting more and more. i rely on email more and more and would love to move from the razr to something more email-enabled – i’m actually considering the pearl !?!?

it is small, internet enabled and fast. it is EXPENSIVE (this is coming from someone that bought an iPhone). running about $200 and $100/month on the contract, i better have a good reason…

anyone care to weigh in?

rapidweaver 4 COMING

after what feels like an eternity, realmacsoftware.com is updating rapidweaver 3.6.x to 4.0 (free for current users).

i have liked rapidweaver so much for the last couple of years since it allowed me to do some fun things without spending a lot of time and money on maintaining a “custom” site. i have tried iWeb from Apple and did not quite feel the same connection.

i have been using the private beta for the last week or so and today (a mere 8 hours before the release) updated my site with version 4 code. it is slimmer, quicker and snazzier! love it!

the final will be exciting to see and i cannot wait to see what others do in the way of templates and add-ons. a powerful yet simple tool!

mac os 10.5.3

and in this corner – weighing in at 420mb, the latest mac os!

as usual, highly recommended to leopard users. i downloaded it (once i got home so i could download it all TODAY), installed it (about 15 minutes), ran cocktail and let it reboot. so far, not a lot of visible changes, but i like to be on the bleeding edge.

anyone see anything really fun or different, let us know.
