Apple releases 10.6.1 VERY quickly
Apple, after a little more than a week after the official release of Snow Leopard has bumped the system to 10.6.1. The update is VERY small (less than 10 MB compared to the later updates that will surely extend into the 100’s of MB range) and is designed to address some stability issues with the first release of the new system.
The 10.6.1 Update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Snow Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac…
As always this is highly recommended and especially with the release of a brand new system, any update like this can only help things. Download (or even easier) run software update to check the system for the latest and greatest and update your Mac.
