for the last few months, i have been looking for a solution to compile a lot of information in one quick page – enter pageflakes. a web front-end to almost limitless content. add your own (from other sources such the new york times or cnn) and see it quickly and easily on one page (a “portal”).

google has done this with their personal home page as well as netvibes. many people have really latched onto netvibes – it is a nice solution, loads of content and works well with mac/windows/explorer/safari/firefox (unlike pageflakes which only works on the mac with firefox – currently).

what i like is creating a page with news, email counts, stock quotes, to do lists and weather all in one place – the only thing i think i really need is a 20+ inch monitor to nicely fit all this content in one place to view and review ALL the info.

the next dream… anyway, if you are looking for a web front end for content from multiple locations, take a look at pageflakes.
