what is the big deal? firefox (THE browser alternative to Internet Explorer on Windows and Safari on the Mac) has been going through updates almost weekly (2.0 to 126.96.36.199 to 188.8.131.52 yesterday). why?
firefox is based on open source meaning that others can update and improve upon the system. that being said, they also “help” find holes or security issues with the software and inform the community. since it is open source and “small” in the scheme of things, updates appear rather quickly (which is GREAT for the user – you).
i would check on a weekly basis (Help>Check for updates…) and see if there are further updates. if you use firefox at all in your daily web browsing, i know it would be well worth you while. if you have not looked at or used firefox, check it out (click on the link on the right)…
