a theater review?
a few years ago i had the opportunity to meet liev schreiber at of all places the soho apple store (he is a mac guy).
as a consultant i corresponded with him a few times and have been in touch with him to say “hi” and see if there are any tech questions i could answer for him. in meeting “famous” people, i always have a bit of a keep an eye on their career and see how they are doing.
well, i just read an astounding review in the new york times that states this play “confirms his status as the finest American theater actor of his generation.” the reiew for “talk radio” on the new york times is here. if you are in/around nyc, between now and the summer it sounds like it is a must see. i have seen liev perform in shakespeare in the park as well as of course major motion pictures (The Sum of All Fears, The Manchurian Candidate, Kate & Leopold).
he is an astounding actor, gifted director and it appears to be quite the (under-rated) thespian.
